We produce our Organic Nibs in our artesanl factory in Antigua Guatemala.
We purchase the beans directly from farmers in Alta Verapaz that grow it orcanically.
Cacao nibs are the beans of the cacao plant; chocolate in its purest form. They taste like chocolate, but with a mild nutty flavor, and because they haven’t been processed with added sugar, they are slightly bitter. Our cacao nibs are of the highest quality, organic, sun-dried, and raw, meaning they haven’t been roasted, and because of that, all of their natural nutrients have been preserved. We source all of our cacao from small Guatemalan farmers who continue the Mayan tradition of sustainably harvesting cocoa beans.
Nutritional Information
Raw cacao nibs are rich in minerals, especially iron and magnesium, B vitamins, and trace elements, such as zinc, copper, and selenium. They have more antioxidants than red wine, green tea, acai berries, and goji berries.
Suggested Use
Eat them as a snack, or add them to smoothies, fruit bowls, yogurt, or desserts. They can be used as a garnish for sweet and even savory dishes.
